Stanmore Shul made a strong showing at this year’s AJEX parade, with approximately 30 members marching and around 60 supporting as spectators. This significant turnout contributed to the record-breaking number of participants in the event.
The parade, themed “Standing Tall, Marching Together,” saw around 3,000 people march from Horse Guards Parade to the Cenotaph, where wreaths were laid in honour of fallen soldiers. Sheila Taylor laid a wreath to remember those who served at the Battle of Imphal and Kohima on the 80th anniversary.
Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis praised the event, calling it “one of my favourite days of the year.
Thank you to Stewart Cass, Martin Briggs and others for their photos.
