Our community is committed to being as accessible as possible. We welcome members and visitors who have hearing or visual difficulties, are disabled, and/or have access needs.
We have the following facilities in place to support your visit to our building:
- Step-free access to the building
- A volunteer on our “Welcome Desk” every Shabbat morning to support anyone with access needs
- There is step-free seating for men and women on the ground floor of the building, with a dedicated area for women at the rear of the men’s section of the shul.
- A lift to the Freeman Susman hall on the upper floor (Shabbat friendly)
- A hearing loop
- Large print siddurim
- Accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor
- Car park (not in use on Shabbat)
- We work with families to ensure that teenagers who are neuro diverse or who have cognitive disabilities are able to enjoy and celebrate bar and bat mitzvahs
- We support adults who are neurodiverse or who have cognitive difficulties to attend services and/or events
- Support (arranged individually) for those who might need help getting to shul on Shabbat or during the week
