Breast Cancer Awareness Evening

We know that Ashkenazi Jewish women have a higher risk of breast cancer.  About 1 in 40 people of Jewish decent have a BRCA mutation, about 10-times higher than other populations.  This is therefore a really important topic for our community – for both women and men. 

We are honoured to be hosting Gila Pfeffer, author of the book “Nearly Departed”, Josh Foreman, Head of Science, Education and Outreach at Jnetics, and Dr Michelle Ferris, co-founder of “Befriend your Boobs” educational initiative to speak. 

The event will include an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.
