SACPS hosted two unforgettable Purim events this year, catering to both young families and the wider community.
The first event was a Wacky Science Party for kids and their families, which saw over 45 children participate in science games and experiments, along with a fun and exciting disco. The children were treated to a fancy-dress parade hosted by Rabbi Lew, who made a fuss about each child’s costume, and each child received a sweet goodie bag along with handmade Purim cards by the Events Manager, Sophia Kaye.
The second event was a Comedy Night for the main community, featuring the hilarious Philip Simon as the main act. The audience was in stitches as they indulged in a hot, meaty dinner followed by traditional hamantashen for dessert.
The two events were both fantastic, and we are thrilled with the turnout and the level of excitement and joy that each event brought to our community. It was wonderful to see the young families having such a great time with the science experiments and disco, and the Comedy Night was a perfect way for the wider community to come together and celebrate Purim.
The events were made possible by the hard work and dedication of the Shul’s staff and volunteers, who put in countless hours to make sure that everything ran smoothly. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make these events such a success. Their tireless efforts and enthusiasm helped to create two truly memorable experiences for our community.
Many thanks to Godfrey Dyan for taking the great pictures
