We were lucky enough to have Rabbi Samuel and Ma’ayan Shoshana Landau hosting our pre-Rosh Hashana evening as part of our Wednesday Wisdom series.
Shoshana spoke on ‘The View from the Gallery – How to connect from behind the Mechitza (and in front of it!)’ – for men and women. She delved into some of the empowering females from the Torah and beautifully demonstrated how they shape our prayers today.
Rabbi Samuel’s topic was Page Turning and Clock Watching: Reconstructing our New Year. He perfectly explained how to really connect with our prayers and make positive changes starting with the elevating call from the shofar. An inspiring message which we will take with us.
Refreshments were served and there was a chance for some interesting Q&A.
