Community News: Stanmore Picklers Smash the “80 Games for 80 Years” Marathon Challenge!

An Epic Milestone for Stanmore Synagogue’s 80th Anniversary

Together, we did it! On Sunday, 24th May, the Stanmore Pickleball community came together to achieve something truly remarkable: completing an epic marathon of 80 games for 80 years in a single day.

This massive group effort was launched to celebrate Stanmore Synagogue’s historic 80th anniversary and to officially kick-start the Active@Stanmore sporting challenges. The entire day was filled with fantastic energy, incredible community spirit, and a wonderful mix of play – spanning a brilliant range of ages, from our energetic younger players right through to our active octogenarians!

We hope everyone who took part thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and feels immensely proud of what we accomplished together for the shul.
