Stanmore Then & Now: A Photographic Celebration*
As part of our 80th anniversary celebrations, ‘Around Stanmore in 80 Years’ is a community photography competition inviting everyone to share their most cherished memories and experiences of Stanmore – Then and Now.
Shul clubs, Brownies, Scouts, dog walks, coffee club, Bentley Priory, Stanmore Common, discos, family simchas…share your favourite memories, moments, and places that make Stanmore our community!

Prizes will be awarded for the best entries, and photos will be featured on social media, the shul website, and the best will be shown in a special exhibition at the 80th Anniversary Gala Dinner in November.

No professional photography experience needed – everyone is welcome to take part, whether that’s capturing something new or sharing a favourite memory.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
1) Upload your photos to our dedicated online album (click to access). Use the ‘say something’ button next to the photo to write a brief note explaining the story or memory.
2) Email your photos (with a brief note explaining the story) to: 80Years@stanmoresynagogue.org
3) Drop the physical photos in to the Shul office (with a short note explaining it). We’ll scan them and return the originals to you.
