Come Dine With Me: Stanmore*

The latest in our 80th anniversary projects, ‘Come Dine With Me: Stanmore!’ is designed to increase the social fabric of our community, through the beauty of Shabbat.

What’s the idea? It’s simple.

We’re looking for 40 host families (or more!) to host 40 guest families (or more!) on Shabbat the 11th of July. Host families will receive gift parcels, as well as materials and resources to enhance their Shabbat meal.

This will be followed by a community seudah back in shul on Shabbat afternoon for all participants of the project, with games and activities for kids.

Come Dine With Me: Stanmore aims to empower our members to share and enjoy the beauty of Shabbat through the Mitzvah of inviting guests, making new friends and memories along the way.

Open to members and non-members alike.

Schedule, Shabbat July the 11th:

9:00am – Shacharit morning services

12:00pm – Kiddush in the Freeman Susman Hall

12:30pm – Come Dine With Me: Stanmore!

6:00pm – Community Seudah back at shul
