Toddlers service – up to and including reception.
The shrieks of joy from our littlest members as they sing along with delight to our repertoire of Shabbat songs are music to the ears of everyone across the community. Parent-led and featuring hands-on activities and dancing, the popular Tots service is the perfect space to introduce your toddlers to life as part of a proudly Jewish community. Tailor-made for babies to the end of reception—they’ll love it, and parents are welcome!
Children’s service – years 1-3
A clear step up from the Tots service, this service, led by the inimitable Rabbi Avraham Zeidman of GIFT fame, encourages the children to become more active participants with quizzes, activities and interactive ‘broadway productions’ of the weekly Sedra. The Children’s service is also the perfect space for your children to begin to gain familiarity with the core prayers in the siddur. Suitable for children of all backgrounds and schools – they’ll love it, and parents are welcome!
Inters service – years 4-7
The Inters service is where the children say ‘goodbye’ to their parents (you’re just not cool enough, sorry), send them into the main service or Tzemach, and begin exploring the Shabbat service independently. With games, challenges, quizzes and explanations of the core prayers, the Inters service is the ideal preparatory step ahead of Bar and Bat Mitzvah stages.
Youth service – year 8 upwards
The youth service is a vibrant, lively and friendly service full of different tunes.
The moment you step foot into the room, you are welcomed and looked after.
One can take part in the service by any means, whether that is by leading the service, leining from the Torah, sharing words of wisdom, setting up the kiddush or even just being a core member of the youth service.
Once a month we have a special kiddush ranging from waffles to schwarma to who knows what, all suggestions are welcome.
From time to time we have a youth breakfast and discussion.
