Would you Adam and Eve it?! A Taste of Eden

An Immersive Pre–Rosh Hashana Evening at Stanmore Shul
Wednesday 17th September | 8:00–9:15pm
Get ready for Rosh Hashana with a shiur like no other – immersive, thought-provoking, and deeply engaging.
Join us for a captivating evening of learning with Rabbi Dr. Raphael Zarum – Dean of LSJS, renowned educator, author, and international speaker – as he leads us on a unique exploration of one of Judaism’s most ancient and symbolic questions:
Did Adam and Eve eat an apple in the Garden of Eden — and why does it matter on Rosh Hashana?
Come to a sensory experience that blends text, taste, and timeless insight – helping us connect to the Yamim Noraim in a fresh and meaningful way through the symbolic fruits and foods that define our Rosh Hashana dining tables.
Come open-minded and ready to reflect, question, and be inspired, whatever your level of learning or knowledge.
7:45pm – Doors Open
8:00pm – Keynote talk from Rabbi Dr Raphael Zarum, interspersed with Simanim food tasting
9:00pm – Questions and Refreshments
Refreshments and Rosh Hashana foods (‘simanim’) will be served.
